5. Pepper Potts In Rescue Armour

Pepper Potts displayed her combat mettle in Iron Man 3 when she had been infected with the Extremis virus, was thought to have perished in a fiery fall, then re-emerged to defeat Aldrich Killian and saved Tony Stark's life - and it was all a bit lame. She has also worn the Iron Man armour, when Tony had it protect her during Killian's assault on his seaside mansion. We can't help but think that this was an allusion to her comic book guise Rescue and a foreshadowing of a future appearance of her heroic alter-ego in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether it's in a potential Iron Man 4 movie, a potential War Machine movie or an Avengers sequel, you just know Tony will have built Pepper her own armour to keep her safe, that it will be given the designated name "Rescue" and that she'll perform more cheesy heroics in the future.
