10 Things We Learned From Kevin Hart On Joe Rogan Experience

7. Road To Recovery

While there's plenty of hilarious moments that come from this episode, there's also something extremely inspiring about Hart's most recent problems. Back in 2019, while in the passenger seat of 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, the 40-year old comedian was involved in a near fatal car accident.

Luckily for him, he managed to survive the crash. However, he didn't come away from it unscathed, suffering severe spine injuries that could've very easily left him wheelchair bound for the rest of his life. Hart is pretty explicit in how difficult it was to recover from the numerous back injuries he had to deal with and his story isn't for the faint-hearted.

While it was quite clearly the scariest moment of his life, Hart's overall outlook on the experience certainly leans towards the more positive. Not only was his mental toughness on show when he explained the difficulties of learning how to walk again, but the lessons he learned in regards to changing his priorities in life following the crash are something we can all appreciate.
