Although we should all trust Favreau’s judgement to get right the choice of vocal talent, show me someone who doesn’t want Jeremy Irons to return to the role and I’ll show you someone who’s just still bitter about having their childhood scarred.
Whether the man would ever want to reprise his part as one of cinema’s most notorious fiends is yet to be seen, but you have to admit, having a veteran on-board can only strengthen the production and would certainly add a welcome sense of familiarity to proceedings.
