5. He Once Had Succulent Lady Breasts
In the third entry of the NOES series, Freddy takes his dream stalking skills away from Elm Street to Westin Hills, a psychiatric hospital for the youth. In one of the most memorable moments of the film, Joey, a mute, unaware that he’s asleep, is seduced by the beautiful nurse who caught his eye earlier in the story.
The two find a place where they can get intimate and slowly but surely the nurse reveals herself to the lucky kid. Joey begins kissing her but notices her tongue getting inhumanly long. Just then, Joey realizes that this nurse isn’t a nurse at all, it’s really Freddy in disguise. Suddenly, in his dream, Joey’s bed disappears and beneath it is a gate way to a fiery hell.
As disturbing as this scene already is, the uncomfortableness would have been taken up a few thousand notches if it had played out as originally intended. Originally the nurse’s head would have morphed into Freddy’s. So, you would have a sexy topless women wearing a very convincing Freddy mask extending down to just above her breasts - a confusing image that would have dramatized any teenage boy who witnessed it in 1987. They went so far as to film it with their actress in full make-up, but everyone ultimately agreed that something about it just wasn’t right.
