Horror filmmakers love to wax lyrical about the films that inspired them to become filmmakers or which cemented their love of horror movies. John Carpenter, for example, went to see The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, came out with a big grin on his face and then, in his own words, €œslept like a baby€.
