When asked what his favourite movie is and why on a recent AMA session on Reddit he responded: "Probably something i saw as a kid simply for the sentimentality of it all." It's a response many will be familiar with - movies have a power to affect us as children perhaps more so than any other time in our lives. Pratt's top picks from the 1980s include some classic fare such as The Goonies, Rambo and the Jean Claude Van Damme action flick Bloodsport, while The Neverending Story gets a special mention, with the caveat "although I'm sure it doesn't hold up but I'll never know cause i'll never watch it again cause i hate when movies that i loved as a kid don't hold up". Tango And Cash might have lost its spark for Chris Pratt since watching it as a kid, but he probably isn't the only person to be disappointed rewatching it after all these years.
