4. He Got The Part On Parks And Recreation By Re-enacting Grand Theft Auto
Before he became famous around the world as a movie star Chris Pratt broke into acting on the small screen, first appearing in Everwood then later The O.C. as Che Cook. It was his role as Andy in Parks And Recreation which allowed his effortless sense of humour off the leash. Originally intended to be a guest appearance on the show, it didn't take long for the producers to realise they'd be wise to get him on board as a permanent character. Pratt convinced them he was their man by improvising Grand Theft Auto, picking up an imaginary car and explaining how he was dropping it on a bunch of prostitutes. Parks And Rec writer Dan Goor said of the performance, "The timing and the improv that he came up with was so funny and so perfect. It was like, thats the guy. Immediately."
