10 Things You Didn't Know About Chucky

4. Chucky Had A Theme Song, But It Was Axed

If there's one thing Chucky doesn't need, it's this theme song, so it's a good job it was dropped from the original Child's Play.

Simon Stokes was commissioned to record the track based on lyrics by Joe Renzetti for the movie's end credits, but fortunately, this abomination of cheerleader-style chants, '80s keyboards and pulsating bass riffs was cast from the toy box.

Child's Play's producers chose not to include the song because it made the killer doll "seem silly", something he hasn't need any extra help to achieve over the years.

But seriously, how bad is this song? "Chucky, Chucky it's the end, gee I thought you were my friend". “C-H-U-C-K, Y don’t you come out to play?” Even Weird Al Yankovic would be too embarrassed to belt out these lines.
