As touched upon in the introduction to this article, Cobie Smulders used to be a model and indeed spent five of her younger years travelling Europe as part of the job. Sounds good, right? Well, not Cobie herself, apparently. The actress has described how she "kind of hated" the experience, even elaborating by saying that the whole thing made her hesitant about pursuing acting as a career. She said "You know, you go into these rooms, and I've had the experience of people judging you physically for so long and I was over that. But then it was like, 'Oh no, I have to actually perform. I have to do well, and I have to have a voice, and I have to have thoughts now.'" It's a good job she went on to make a success of her acting career then, isn't it?
