10 Things You Didn't Know About Darth Vader

9. The Iconic Costume Actually Changes Slightly From Film To Film

Contrary to what many Star Wars fans might believe, Vader's costume isn't consistent from one film to another; the suit in A New Hope is not the same one that you see in The Empire Strikes Back, neither of which are the same as the one in Return Of The Jedi. So what, exactly, changed between the films? The shape and dimensions of the helmet, mostly, especially at the back - not to mention that there are hundreds of tiny tweaks and little differences between all three costumes. The costume worn by Hayden Christensen in Episode III was also noticeably different in the shape department, as it had to be built to specifically fit to his body. Hey, the same thing happened with Indiana Jones; small aspects of Harrison Ford's costume changed between films, but nobody noticed because, well, why would you?
