One of Stone's most iconic features is her husky voice, though it is a result of baby colic, with her constant crying resulting in nodules forming on her vocal chords, altering the pitch, and overall sound of her voice even into adulthood. Stone also suffers from asthma, something she hadn't realised until a bizarre moment while on the set of Easy A. She started having a mild asthma attack while filming an intentionally-funny, fake sex scene. She told MTV News: I cant even simulate sex without dying! I had a little asthma attack, without any prior knowledge that I had asthma, during the scene where we had to jump up and down for hours and hours screaming and yelling on the bed. It was humiliating, because it was the second day of shooting.
