10 Things You Didn’t Know About Gremlins

1. The Ending Of Gremlins 2 Wasn€™t Originally Going To Be As Cool

electrox One of the coolest parts of the Gremlins franchise was the ending to the second film. Billy and Mr. Futterman hose down the Gremlins with water, then release a genetically enhanced Lightning Gremlin on them, causing everyone to get electrocuted and explode. It€™s an awesome display of comedy horror. However, the original scene was going to be much more boring. The original ending called for Daniel Clamp to simply fill the building with cement, thus trapping all of the Gremlins inside. Thankfully, the animators realized they had the technology to create the Lightning Gremlin, thus we got the cooler ending. Overall, I love the Gremlins movies. I really don€™t want to see a reboot, remake, or rehash of the series. Let timeless classics be what they are: timeless. Hopefully you all learned a few new things about one of the best creature feature film series ever! Anything I missed? Anything you know about Gremlins that everyone should know about?
