6. She's The Mother Of Mutants
Most people know that Mystique is the mother of X-man Nightcrawler. A few people know that she's the mother of X-woman Rogue. Even fewer realise that she'd also the mother of recurring villain Grayson Creed. While Creed's father is fellow mutant villain Sabertooth, Creed is entirely human, which may explain his hatred for mutants across the world. Mystique's children also includes Raze and Charles, the possible future sons of Wolverine and Charles Xavier, respectively. Over the years, readers have theorised that a whole host of other mutants could be related to Mystique, including recurring villain Apocalypse and Generation Hope's Transonic, based largely on the similarities in powers and appearance between the characters. Because of her longevity, and the number of mutant children she already has, some fans have theorised that Mystique may actually have been both one of the first mutants, but also the ancestral mother of most of the mutant population.
