Really, though, none of that some come as a surprise to anybody who's seen Rosario Dawson's first appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. Back when the talk show host was still on NBC, and before Dawson had gone full geek with her roles in Clerks II and Daredevil, she revealed that she prescribes to one of the geekiest fan followings going. Yes, Rosario Dawson is a Trekkie. According to that self-same Conan interview she and her brother frequently binge-watch episodes of Star Trek together, comparing them unfavourably to the then-contemporary Battlestar Galactia comeback. A comparison she makes by speaking in Klingon. She admits that she isn't fluent, but knows a few words of the fictional alien language that sounds like somebody hurling up their dinner after being kicked in the stomach. That's right, Rosario Dawson isn't just somebody who saw Star Trek in re-runs as a kid: she learned Klingon, has opinions about the show, and often geeks out about the new films.
