10. She Hates Her Media Nickname

Media darlings (and indeed moderately famous people in general) tend to garner nicknames whenever their names allow for it - J-Lo, K-Stew, Posh and Becks, K-Fed and Brangelina, for example - and Scarlett Johansson is no different. The media have amalgamated the first syllables of each of her two names to form the name "ScarJo". Rather understandably, Johansson herself has spoken out about the give name, explaining that she really doesn't care for it and describing it as "awful". Who can blame her? It sounds like something a redneck would name their child if their conception resulted in a scar-inducing injury.
