10 Things You Missed In Star Wars Deleted Scenes

9. Anakin Speaks Binary - Revenge Of The Sith

Much as George Lucas made many creative missteps in the prequel trilogy, he at least had the good sense to cut this utterly deranged scene from Revenge of the Sith.

When Anakin (Hayden Christensen) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) about preparing to ride an elevator aboard the Invisible Hand, they receive messages from R2-D2 (Kenny Baker), but can't understand them due to a broken translator.

The pair nevertheless listen to the beeps in an attempt to decipher what the droid is saying, at which point Anakin literally speaks the droid language of binary aloud.

Hilariously because this is a deleted scene, droid beeps are simply edited over Hayden Christensen's mouth movements, when one can assume a more finessed cut of the scene wouldn't have had him literally making perfect droid noises with his mouth.

All the same, it's an amazing artefact of a sequence which Lucas was probably right to cut, as funny as it is.
