10 Things You Missed In Star Wars Deleted Scenes

2. Han's Lady-Friend, Jenny - A New Hope

Though Han Solo's character arc is undeniably centered around his relationship with Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), did you know that he actually had another prior lady-friend in A New Hope?

Rough footage from an early cut of the film's Mos Eisley cantina sequence shows Han sat with an unnamed woman, who he kisses before dismissing her as "sweetheart" once Luke and Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness) show up at his booth.

The woman, played by actress Jenny Cresswell, is canonically - and imaginatively - named Jenny in the novel A New Hope: The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy, but in A New Hope's theatrical release can only be seen briefly talking to a Rodian in the cantina.

Though certainly not a sacrilegious removal from the cantina scene, it does nevertheless add a little flavour to Han's presence in the place, that he's not one to turn down an attractive woman while waiting on business.
