10 Things You Need To Know About Captain America: Civil War
1. Iron Man Vs. Winter Soldier
The Superhuman Registration Act is obviously what divides The Avengers, but why would close allies like Captain America and Iron Man come down on opposite sides with no sort of compromise? That was an issue many had with the comic books, but it sounds like the rift between the two heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will actually be made a little more complicated by The Winter Soldier.
As Captain America's last movie implied, Bucky is indeed responsible for the death of Tony Stark's parents. Iron Man is thus obviously out for revenge and wants to see a killer like The Winter Soldier brought to justice. Steve meanwhile is hell bent on bringing back his old friend, so it's obvious why they would disagree.
When it was revealed that Captain America 3 would adapt Civil War, there were those who worried that it meant Bucky's story would be pushed aside. Kevin Feige and others involved with the threequel have since confirmed that's most definitely not the case, promising that The Winter Soldier's role will be bigger than anyone is expecting (it's even been rumoured that the disaster created by Crossbones is blamed on Cap's former sidekick).
