Ted 2 is already showing to be a little different to the first movie, in that Ted is now going to be questioned as a 'living' teddy bear. In the first movie, he just gets on with it, right? He walks around, drives a car, has a job, and obviously courts romantic partners, and no one says anything. In the sequel, however, it appears that people are starting to question his standing. The films are really about not letting go and clinging to childhood. John is certainly somewhat emotionally stunted, so it falls to fans to wonder: is it going to turn out that Ted is really some kind of psychological construct after all? Or will Ted 2 decree once and for all that he is a real live bear? Given that there are already rumours about a Ted 3, it may be that he's going to stick around.
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
