2. Iron Man

The deal between Marvel and Sony doesn't just mean that Spider-Man can appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also means that some of their stable will be paying Spidey a visit in his new film series. It looks like Sony are going straight for the big guns too, as Iron Man will be making what sounds like a major appearance in Spectacular Spider-Man. After all, what better way is there to make it a hit than turning to Robert Downey Jr.? Apparently, the box office magnet's part in the reboot will involve Spider-Man, "fighting Iron Man and then trying to pass the 'audition' to join the Avengers." Is the fight because Spidey turns on the Armoured Avenger during Civil War or because that's part of the "audition" process? It's hard to say for sure, but this sounds an awful like what happened in Amazing Spider-Man #1 when the character tried out for a place in the Fantastic Four!
