10 Times James Bond Went Bad

2. Daniel Craig - Road To Perdition

There are a fair few pre-Bond roles where Daniel Craig walks the line between antiheroism and outright villainy - see Munich, Layer Cake and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider for some of the evidence. Hell, even as Bond he's always been a bit of a s**t (remember when he left Quantum Of Solace villain Dominic Greene out in the desert with just a can of oil to drink? What a jerk). But in a film full of bad guys, Craig stands out in Road To Perdition for being just that bit worse than everybody else. And by a bit worse, that means executing friends for money, killing women and children in cold blood and - probably worst of all - putting a hit out on cuddly old family friend Tom Hanks. Though he spends a fair bit of the time gunning down innocents, the scariest thing about Craig in Road To Perdition is that his veil of personability never quite hides the demon underneath. When he first flashes that impish grin to Peter Sullivan early in the film, you just know young Peter's not long for this world.
