10 Times People Died While Watching Movies

1. A Man Died During The Conjuring 2, Only For His Body To Go Missing

It's rare enough for a person to die while they're watching a movie, but it's downright unheard of for their body to then mysteriously disappear, but this genuinely happened during a screening of The Conjuring 2 in 2013.

While attending an evening showing of the movie, an unnamed 65-year-old man fainted after complaining of chest pains, just as the film neared its end. He was quickly rushed to a local hospital, where he was declared dead. Medical professionals then ordered his body to be taken to the Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem, but bizarrely, the person tasked with this job never arrived at the location, disappearing along with their dead cargo.

Naturally, given the ghostly subject matter of the film, many people immediately jumped to a supernatural explanation for this disappearance. It's not clear if the body was ever recovered, but regardless, the filmmakers probably appreciated all the extra buzz this story generated.
