10 Times You Wanted Things From Movies (THAT DIDN'T ACTUALLY EXIST)

Returning to the animated Toy Story sphere now, and to one of the dynamic duo that just about every child on the planet ended up sprinting around their front room with at one point or another.

And it was during said bouts of enthusiastically re-enacting some of the hit franchise's most iconic moments, such as Buzz Lightyear falling with style around Andy's bedroom, for example, that a rather depressing reality washed over many an innocent child.

Upon slamming the Space Ranger's big red button on his glowing green chest, many braced themselves to see the unquestionably awesome wing-span of the big-screen hero up close for themselves. Only, when said reveal did actually go down, it soon became apparent that their Buzz wasn't quite as, erm, well equipped as the movie version.

Admittedly, having the real-life Buzz's sport a similar size wing-span as the one he's found rocking in the series would've likely increased the chance of an overly curious kid losing an eye. But that was still a price worth paying to fully live the dream of having a film-accurate Lightyear soar around your living room on Christmas morning.

Sadly, those youngsters were forced to make do with a somewhat stumpy-winged Buzz instead.
