People first took note of Armie Hammer after his excellent turn in David Fincher's The Social Network and ever since then he has been consistently working on multiple projects. Unfortunately, although many of them have been well-received, plenty have also been mediocre. Usually, this wouldn't be too big an issue. The problem is that Hammer seems poised to become a huge Hollywood leading man, and the lack of an intense hit movie to take him there is evident.

Hammer has the perfect Hollywood look, and his acting ability is undoubtedly strong enough to make him a believable star, but failed franchises like The Lone Ranger and The Man From Uncle have withheld him from gaining the position that he deserves.

All he needs is a hit movie or a big appearance in a popular franchise, and he could be the next big thing in Hollywood.

He currently has seven projects in the pipe-line, and we can only hope that at least one of them is a big enough success to carry him over into the mainstream.
