The godfather of MMA. The guy who got it all going in the UFC. Sure, his brothers played a huge role in getting the promotion going, but it was Royce who set foot in the original octagon and got the ball going. It was Royce who lived up the family named, and submitted men twice his size. His career long past, Gracie has signed on for a sizeable role in upcoming Scorpion King 4: The Quest for Power, a film that refuses to say no to any MMA fighter. Just tell them you wore the five ounce gloves that one time, and they'll find a role for you. Gracie is a busy guy these days, back in the media thanks to the movie role and his recently announced position as ambassador for Bellator MMA. He also has one other film credit to his name: 2001's The Homecoming of Jimmy Whitecloud, an action flick centred on a native American comedian. An action flick centred on a comedian who isn't Eddie Murphy? Well that explains why Gracie didn't turn up in another movie for over a decade... Anything been missed? Well step up and let us know in the comments.
