10 Underrated Horror Comedy Movies

Now, it's understandable that this strange flick from 2015 never reached the large audience it deserved.

After all, the film falls into impossible-to-market but great-to-watch intersection of between sweet dramedy and self-aware slasher spoof, an obscure sort of genre mash up which nonetheless works thanks to some funny, poignant writing, some clever takes on age old cliches, and a pair of superb central turns from the always underrated Malin Akerman and American Horror Story starlet Taissa Farmiga.

Benefitting from a supporting cast including Pitch Perfect's Adam Devine and Search Party's Alia Shawkat, this one is for those times you want to want something sweet, raucous, spooky, and clever all at once. You know, that not-at-all contradictory combination we all know and love.
