Throughout the last 40 years, Linnea Quigley has worked steadily, and the standard of movie has never changed. Her work during the video rental era was the most successful of her career and the movies were (and still are) perfect party flicks.

Most people became familiar with this actress from her role as the cooky, wild and dangerous Trash in The Return of the Living Dead (1985). Seeing her go from punk waster to graveyard stripper and finally into a ferocious flesh eater in one movie, had a whole generation of teenagers fall in love with Linnea and renting anything they could see her in. Quigley’s list of credits following her portrayal of Trash is a glorious collection of movie garbage that includes Creepozoids, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Night of the Demons and Dead Heat. This horror hero also made a small cameo in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. Her face can be seen as a soul on Freddy Krueger’s chest. Despite the quality of her films, and many being forgotten today, most were very popular amongst young movie fans at the time.

Quigley is a genuine scream queen of the b-movie world, but her work is not just limited to film. She released a horror themed workout video in 1990, she appeared in the music video for Motorhead’s Sacrifice as well as playing in a band herself, The Skirts.
