10 Upcoming Blockbusters That Will Sink Faster Than The Titanic

3. Silent Hill: Revelation

The Release Date: October 26th, 2012 What It€™s Got Going For It: Silent Hill: Revelation is a near-direct adaptation of the hit video game Silent Hill 3, released just a few years back on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Why It€™s Already Doomed: If you€™re getting a sense of déjà vu, as if we€™ve crossed this territory before, then kudos for paying attention! What poses even more of a problem for Revelation than the latest Resident Evil film is that the latter is a far more well-known and established brand in both the movie industry and its own realm than the former, which means that considering even Resi€™s position is no longer looking particularly stable, the stakes are even higher and less favourable for Silent Hill€™s latest instalment. Add to that a growing convoluted multi-movie arc- kudos once again if you€™re able to recount the events of the last entry- and you€™ve got a major problem developing in terms of potential ticket sales already. That the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall, will be just around the corner at this point (landing in the UK on the 28th) and that Twilight€™s finale won€™t be far off either only adds to the danger Revelation is likely to find itself in. Lionsgate would be worried, were it not for the fact that the latter competitor is of their own creation- that fact alone shows the lack of faith that even the distributors have in their own franchise€
