You couldn't be blamed for having no earthly idea that a fourth Jeepers Creepers film is in the works. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn is a soft reboot of the series which has no involvement from the original trilogy's controversial writer-director, Victor Salva.

Reborn wrapped filming way back in February 2021, yet its release has been stalled due to a lawsuit being filed by production company Myriad Pictures regarding the series' worldwide distribution rights.

It's highly likely that the film's release can't happen until this suit has been resolved, and with the trial reportedly not set to begin until January 2024, it's entirely possible Reborn ends up sitting on a shelf for a number of years.

On the other hand an out-of-court settlement could remedy the matter more swiftly, but either way, nobody wants to see their movie collecting dust like this, where eventually even hardcore fans of the franchise might start to lose interest.
