For his long-gestating directorial debut Fool's Paradise, Charlie Day has clearly called in all the favours at his disposal to give his indie comedy every possible chance of success.

Beyond Day himself, the ensemble includes Ken Jeong, the late, great Ray Liotta, Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, Common, Jason Sudeikis, Edie Falco, John Malkovich, Jillian Bell, Travis Fimmel, Dean Norris, Jason Bateman, and Day's It's Always Sunny co-stars Mary Elizabeth Ellis (who is also his wife), Glenn Howerton, and Jimmi Simpson.

It's a stunning line-up for any filmmaker's directorial debut, star or not, and to make things even more surreal, the movie began shooting way back in October 2018, having spent almost five years in post-production limbo.

Plus, with Day shooting additional scenes with Jeong, Brody, Beckinsale, and Liotta (who has since passed away) last year, it's entirely possible these actors are going to noticeably age between scenes. Either way, it's going to be a sight to see alright.
