Barry Newman Vanishing Point In 1971, Barry Newman's Kowalski took a job to transport a '70 Dodge Challenger to its San Francisco destination in 15 hours or less. What resulted would become one of the most iconic car movies in cinematic history in Vanishing Point. Today, Newman isn't any younger. At the age of 74, he might not be up for the action that comes with riding alongside the likes of Vin Diesel or Paul Walker, but his inclusion could go a long way at making an instalment of the series that much better. The series has moved away from its racing roots, and into the realm of heists, but adding somebody like Newman in any capacity could make sure that long time series fans will remember the spirit of the franchise.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
