5. Willem Dafoe
When you start talking about mixing things up by bringing in Veteran actors, you're really talking about expanding your demographic. The goal is to bring the older people that remember the old school chase and heist movies of Hollywood's golden era. The way you do that is by looking for those actors that really defined a role and/or created a type-cast. Willem Dafoe is among these men. He's not as iconic in this genre as some of the others on this may be, but he left his mark on every movie he's been in. From Platoon and Live and Die in L.A., to Spider-Man and Boondock Saints, this guy can make us laugh, or cower with fear from one scene to the next. His presence alone is always intimidating, as he's known for playing characters that are larger than life. It would be interesting to see what kind of route they could give him in Fast & Furious, and how characters would perceive his persona.
