10 Villains Who Need To Appear In MCU Phase 4

8. Beta Ray Bill

Doctor Doom
Marvel Comics

With Thor: Love and Thunder set to see the mantle of The Mighty Thor passed to Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, what better way to introduce Beta Ray Bill into the MCU fold?

In the realm of Marvel Comics, Bill is one of the few people capable of wielding Mjolnir and is also one of those rare beings that has toppled Thor - not to mention, getting his own version of the Thunder God's classic outfit and his own swanky all-powerful hammer after defeating Odinson.

We know that Beta Ray Bill exists within the MCU, for his likeness was seen on a statue recognising some of Sakaar's most famous warriors. In fact, Marvel's Kevin Feige has previously explained how Bill was actually supposed to have an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok but they ultimately decided against it as they wanted to instead introduce the character in a meatier way.

Beta Ray Bill is actually a bona fide hero in his own right, yet his initial appearance in Marvel Comics saw him positioned as a pseudo bad guy who wanted to take Thor's moniker as his own. As such, with the MCU's Thor to hand over his title to Jane Foster, this would be a great time to have Bill step to the fore as he eyes that prestigious mantle for himself.
