10 Ways Avengers: Age Of Ultron Could Link To Future Films
10. The Dormant Peacekeeping Program (Ant-Man)
The synopsis for Avengers: Age of Ultron describes how Tony Stark revives a dormant peacekeeping program, turns it into the Ultron initiative, and how it all goes wrong, as Ultron turns on humanity. In the comic books, Ultron was actually created by Hank Pym and, thus far, we have been assured that he has nothing to do with Ultron in this universe. However, we believe that he may have had something to do with the original peacekeeping program in the past. Pym is an older gentleman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - played by Michael Douglas in next year's Ant-Man offering - and, as such, he may have been a young man when Howard Stark first thought of the idea of robot protectors for mankind. We actually see an android in the first Captain America movie (see above) and it would be no surprise whatsoever to hear Pym's name mentioned as someone who worked with Tony Stark's father in the early days of the program before it was scrapped (probably because they saw the danger it potentially posed).
