1. The "Controversial" Ending Will Change The MCU Forever
The Russo Brothers themselves have said that Civil War has a "very dramatic ending that will be controversial for a lot of people", and early reviews have referred to the third act as an "emotional horror movie". So, it's safe to say that whatever happens, be it a concrete character death or something we haven't even thought of yet, it will be a total game-changer for the MCU as a whole. With all the movies in-between Civil War and Infinity War featuring peripheral characters or heroes who simply aren't appearing in Civil War, we're probably going to be left hanging for two years with whatever shocking moment occurs, so there's no doubt whatsoever that the complexion of the MCU from Infinity War forward will be permanently altered.
