10 Ways DC Are Already Failing To Mimic Marvel's Success

1. They're Too Far Behind Marvel

There's a lot of talk about superhero fatigue, and while most of that comes from those who hate the genre, it's not hard to imagine a lot of the upcoming releases flopping over the next few years. They can't all be hits after all, and with Marvel's plans getting bigger and more exciting as time goes on, the chances of them overshadowing DC are pretty huge. In 2016, Warner Bros. has Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad on the way, two very different and pretty admittedly exciting movies. Marvel however have a huge game changer in Captain America: Civil War, a release which will feature a new Spider-Man joining their Cinematic Universe. That alone makes it really stand out from the competition. Just as Warner Bros. are launching their DC Cinematic Universe, Marvel are entering the third phase of theirs, and an argument could be made that neither fans or moviegoers will have the need or desire for a new one in their lives, especially if it fails to match Marvel. Do you think it's too late for DC? Or can they pull it back? Share your opinions down in the comments.
