10 Ways Matt Reeves Can Reboot Batman

6. And A New Batman Ally

Bruce Wayne doesn't always play well with others, but there have been times when Batman would have been lost without his trusted allies.

From Commissioner Gordon to Alfred, the usual suspects have been done to death, so how about introducing a lesser-known Bat companion in the reboot?

The traditional Robin is difficult to pull off on screen, not least because the Boy Wonder has one of the most cheesy getups in the DC Universe, not to mention that his Zorro-style mask is the most useless disguise ever, covering like 5% of the face.

However, Nightwing poses no such issues (apart from the mask thing), so why not tell the story of Dick Grayson's return to Batman's life as a new and improved sidekick?

That way, the movie could offer a different dynamic than recent Batman films by focusing on the crimefighting partnership between Gotham's Dynamic Duo.

The Caped Crusader has recruited a small army of followers over the years, from Huntress to Batgirl, but the number of allies by his side in the reboot should be capped at one to avoid a case of too many cooks spoiling the bat broth.
