10 Ways The Marvel Cinematic Universe Proves That Dreams Do Come True
2. It's Showing No Signs Of Stopping
Reboots and remakes are an oft-detested aspect of modern day Hollywood that has so far eluded the MCU. As opposed to countless other comic book heroes, including the Fantastic Four, Hulk and Spider-Man, characters who made their onscreen debut in Marvel from 2008 onwards have never fallen victim to the dreaded prospect of a continuity reset. There have been recasts, yes, but it'll be a long time coming until someone at Disney decides to take the universe back to the drawing board.
This is all thanks to the fact that since its inception the MCU has managed to cultivate a vast array of protagonists and talent, so even when RDJ decides to call it quits as Tony Stark, (whether in Infinity War or with the long-gestating Iron Man 4) there'll be another character just as compelling to act as the vanguard of Marvel's premier universe.
The company has never been known to keep all their eggs in one basket, and their next phase looks just as rich and as diverse as the last. If anything's been made clear so far, it's that it'll take a cataclysmic-sized event to bring this franchise to a halt.
