Throughout Phase Four, Marvel projects like WandaVision and Loki have added a lot of mystery to their storylines. By not giving away too many details in trailers and promotions, viewers speculated endlessly on what was going to happen next in instalments like this.

Although fan-theories can be a lot of fun, some people become furious every time the MCU doesn't pan out like they expected. Even though Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness incorporated some familiar faces into the MCU, some viewers were raging because the film didn't implement more.

Now, fixing this problem is easy - if you don't want to be disappointed, dial down your expectations. But there are times where you can't help feeling let down.

When Evan Peters' version of Quicksilver appeared in WandaVision, fans believed this was proof that the X-Men from 20th Century Fox had officially joined the franchise. But two episodes later, this development was revealed to be a red herring.

Even though this was an unexpected twist, viewers had every right to be angry since the studio deliberately mislead viewers for the sake of a gag.
