10 Weirdest Cameos In Movie History

8. Charlie Sheen - Being John Malkovich

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meSIVfOyerg This is one of those cameos that at the time seemed vaguely funny, but repurposed within a new context, is absolutely hilarious. Given Charlie Sheen's very public meltdown, weathered by drug use, bizarre hotel room incidents, and various misguided public appearances which are clearly cries for help, to see him being consulted for help by anyone, whether now or in the past, just seems ludicrous. What with John Malkovich's massive crisis of identity in Spike Jonze's masterfully loopy film, it's not surprising he sought help, but looking back, it seems cruelly, thigh-slappingly ironic that he'd seek spiritual or existential advice from a man who is so clearly intent on hurling himself over the edge. Though Charlie was well-known as a "bad boy" by this point in his career, seeing him as the more measured and controlled personality stood next to anyone just seems absurd. And the film in a sense benefits from it now.
