9. Richard Branson - Superman Returns

Richard Branson had cameos in two major movies in 2006: he was briefly seen passing through airport security in Casino Royale - as a favour for lending the production a plane at the last-minute - and also showed up in Bryan Singer's Superman Returns.

Branson actually appears in one of the movie's most pivotal scenes, when Superman (Brandon Routh) returns to Earth at the end of the first act to rescue a doomed space shuttle.

Branson can be briefly seen as one of the astronauts aboard the vessel, and though Singer gives us a pretty blatant close-up of Branson's face, the spacesuit's helmet obscures things just enough that it isn't too obvious.

But of course, Branson's presence in a scene depicting space travel is no coincidence, given that he founded his own spaceflight enterprise, Virgin Galactic, just the year before Superman Returns started shooting.
