3. Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RARpAYCYjdA Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny is the unbelievable title of a film that the likes of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 have had great fun ripping to pieces, and with good cause, given that it's one of oddest and most incomprehensible Christmas films ever made. The narrative begins as Santa Clause gets his sleigh stuck on a Florida beach, while...people in animal costumes try to help him get free. Because the budget obviously couldn't stretch for it, the plot explains that Santa's reindeer flew away before either anyone else or, apparently, the film's camera crew showed up, and Santa ends up being freed by a costumed bunny - yes, the titular Ice Cream Bunny - early on. Despite being featured in the title, the Bunny is only in the start of the film, and once it diverts to become a surreal musical, that's all she wrote. It's clear that this musical portion was tagged on in order to pad out the runtime, and as a result, it's difficult to recommend watching this film without having the MST3K commentary to hand. It's weird as Hell, but it sure ain't any good.
