For those curious, the bathtub is exclusively comprised of 24 carats, because when you're going for useless extravagance, you might as well go all out. This wasn't cheap though, and set Tyson back a whopping $2.2 million.

The bathtub might be for cleaning, but all that expense must surely make the retired boxer feel dirty.

To be fair though, the guy's one of the most well known names in all of sport, let alone boxing, and has even transcended the world of athletics to become something of a cultural icon. He's made his name in countless films and other media, so if anyone has any hope of pulling off something as tacky as a golden bath, it's Mike Tyson.

Having said that he also owns three Bengal tigers and a face tattoo. So maybe not the best judge of financial investments.
