Frank Vs God is a 2012 film all about David Frank - a formerly successful corporate attorney who spends days in his bathrobe with his only real companion, his beloved bulldog, Brutus. His spirit had already been completely shattered by the death of his wife and then, to make things worse, a tornado hit and, despite his heroic efforts, lifted his house - and poor Brutus - up into its dark grey funnel of mass destruction. David viewed the incident as punishment from God himself and, to rub salt in to his wounds, his insurance company told him that they wouldn't pay out because the damage fell under the "Act of God" clause in his policy. Angered by this, David opted to take God himself to court and sue him and, given his legal history, makes a startlingly convincing case for himself in a very entertaining little flick.
