10 Weirdest "Versus" Movies Of All Time

3. King Kong Vs Godzilla

King Kong Vs Godzilla is a 1962 Toho offering that pits two of the most iconic monsters in movie history against each other - but it doesn't make any sense. King Kong is generally depicted as being around twenty feet tall, while Godzilla is generally depicted as being anything between 200 and 1000 feet tall - and yet, in this movie, they were somehow the same size. Had they been depicted at their standard heights, Godzilla should have been able to step on King Kong and win the fight before it even started. Regardless, the plot of this movie was that a Japanese pharmaceutical company captured King Kong and brought him to Japan as a publicity stunt. Of course, this happened just as Godzilla had been inadvertently released from his iceberg prison, and the pair proceeded to rampage around Japan. As a result, the Japanese Self-Defense Forces lure them together in the hopes of them fighting each other to a mutual death. It's a ludicrous movie that includes such ridiculous scenes as King Kong getting drunk on red berry juice and being powered up by electricity. Still, it's a lot of nonsensical fun.
