Lobo is without a doubt the coolest character in comics, after all, his unpronounceable real name literally translates to "He who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it".

In a similar way to Guardians of The Galaxy, Lobo could become a loveable anti-hero, perhaps even being hired to save the universe against the likes of Starro the Conqueror who would be an absolute joy to see onscreen.

Before the release of Batman V Superman, a Lobo movie had already been planned, with the writer of Wonder Woman set to write the script, though the unexpected misfires from Warner Bros. have likely set it back a few years.

Nonetheless there is so much potential for this film, especially with a badass actor in the starring role like Idris Elba or maybe even Dave Bautista who, given his recent dispute with Disney over the firing of James Gunn, could be a major coup for DC.
