10 Worst Decisions Harry Potter Ever Made
Even The Boy Who Lived couldn't get everything right.
The Harry Potter series spanned eight movies and was one of the most successful film franchises of all time. Fans flocked to cinemas to see the adventures of Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and, the titular, Harry Potter.
It was their adolescence that prompted some of their most enthralling moments as audiences watched the young trio grow up, from naive kids into powerful young adults.
But, in teenage years, many people make poor decisions, either for themselves or for other people and even the great Harry Potter has fallen victim to his own poor choices.
Fighting off Voldemort while going through puberty is no easy feat for anyone and amongst all of Harry's heroic achievements, he has made plenty of questionable choices. Some decisions were either just blinded anger or accidental incompetence, But these ones were simply stupid and affected everyone around him.
10. His Reckless Obsession With Bellatrix Lestrange
Towards the end of Order of the Phoenix, in a fight between the Order and the Death Eaters, Bellatrix Lestrange murdered Sirius Black. Sirius was Harry's godfather and a large paternal figure in his life so his death sparked immense anger and hatred in Harry, which led to his obsession with Lestrange.
Immediately after Sirius' death, Harry chased after Bellatrix on his own, disarming her. However, this was simply a manipulation by Voldemort to force Harry to kill. In The Half-Blood Prince, Harry ran after Bellatrix on his own again, leaving him at the mercy of his foe and her accomplice, Fenrir Greyback.
Harry's blind hatred of Bellatrix put himself in dangerous situations, falling for obvious traps that left him at the mercy of more powerful wizards. If it was not for Dumbledore, Ginny Weasley, Tonks and Lupin, Harry would have either been captured or murdered.
