10 Worst Movie Decisions With Unbelievable Consequences

4. Peter Quill Attacking Thanos - Infinity War

The Many Deaths Of Ian Stone
Marvel Studios

It was incredibly frustrating to watch Quill carry out his pointless, weak attack on the mentally-subdued Thanos - knowing that the outcome of it could be nothing but bad.

It had been hard enough to get the big purple baddie into the state of stillness in the first place, and then suddenly it was all going to be thrown away because one stupid little man couldn’t control his temper.

We can probably sympathise with him a little bit because he had just received the horrible news that the woman he loved had been killed by Thanos.

However, had he held himself together for just a bit longer then he wouldn’t have been one of the driving forces in half of everyone in the universe being snapped away.

Because of Quill’s little outburst, he broke the hold Mantis and the crew had over Thanos, who was then able to battle his way to his big ‘snap’ moment. Nice one Quill, real nice.
