10 Worst Star Wars Characters

6. Dexter Jettster

When Obi-Wan went off looking for information on the poison dart that killed Zam Wesell, his first stop was at Dex's Diner, which, after meeting the proprietor, was apparently somewhere in Manhattan. Yet another caricature that doesn't seem to fit into the Star Wars ethos, Dexter Jettster was a foul looking, obese, slovenly, grease encrusted, "New Yawker" deli owner. George Lucas literally had any direction to take that he wanted to with his characters and he gives us someone that would seem more at home schlepping pastrami and corned beef at Katz's Delicatessen. Don't be confused - this is not a slam on New York delicatessen owners, not in the least. But Hollywood has shown us this very same character in countless movies over the years, so, why did Lucas feel the need to shoe-horn such a 'non-Star Wars' character into his universe? Was it a feeble attempt to add comedy? Was he trying to help people identify more easily with these aliens? Whatever the reason, all that resulted was one of the worst characters ever seen in the Star Wars Universe.

A self professed Stephen King/Star Wars geek and pop culture neophyte, Scott tends to spend much of his time alone pondering life's greatest mysteries.....he also depends heavily on his son Liam, a great sounding board, to set him straight on Star Wars issues and gives him advice on what EXACTLY he's doing wrong.
