Being brought back to life thanks to a magical rock is a bad enough idea already.

Being brought back to life thanks to a magical rock but you actually possess another man's body that everyone else can see except your ex-lover, well, that's just ridiculous.

Welcome to Wonder Woman 1984!

The sequel to Patty Jenkins' original movie, this film sees Gal Gadot once again wield her lasso in an attempt to stop an evil scientist cheetah lady. Yep, it's as good as it sounds.

Another stupid part of the movie is the resurrection of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, a pilot from World War I who died at the end of the first film.

Diana misses her boo - why wouldn't she, look at those cheekbones - and so uses something called the Dreamstone to wish for him to come back. Her desire is fulfilled but, as we said earlier, Steve only appears as Pine to Diana. To everyone else, he's an entirely different person.

This gets incredibly confusing, especially when you think about the practicalities of it all.

Being wished back to life is already a pretty lame plot point, but this added wrinkle just makes it even worse.
